Artistic Statement:

I believe the purpose of art is to transform. I believe in new theatre and all good new theatre is breaking boundaries and challenging what we know in some way. Live art should be bold, radical and authentic; and should follow it all with a touch of music, humor and grace. I will tell my story and speak my truth, which is also a Black truth, and so will I always champion Black and Brown theatre.

“Theatre is the art form of the present: it exists only in the present, and then it's gone.” — Simon McBurney
